Microsoft started with a beta as an answer for Joost.  It's called Livestation.  At this moment only a few people can test it, but later this year they will invite more people. One of the advantages of LiveStation is that users not only can look to On_Demand, but also Live television.

The architecture uses just like Joost the P2P technologie.

So I'm looking forward to test LiveStation and give a complete report about it and the differences with Joost.

I just found a strange label behaviour in VS2005.  When I add a label on my winform and I add the text to it where we use rounded brackets, the closing rounded bracket isn't showed and at the beginning of text another opening rounded bracket is showed.

The properties of the label.

The result on the label

The most strange thing is that it's only in the project where I'm currently working and they don't have their own label control.

After checking out more it's also with the "/" character.

Don't know what it is, but it's irritating.

Update : this behaviour is only when you use the property RightToLeft = true and the combination of Autosize = false.  It seems that this is a bug.  Don't have found a solution for it. But a collegue of me has reproduced this bug.

OK, I know we use Internet Explorer, but sometimes I need Firefox for my work, just to check how a website will look in Firefox.
There is a nice firefox add-on gadget when switching between the tabs.  The add-on will give you a nice 3D switching effect.

Download the add-on here.

One of my hobby's is photography.  Around two years ago I had bought me a Nikon Coolpix 8700. At this moment I have taken almost 4500 pictures with it.  So it was time to create a Flickr account.  So go there and take a look.  At this moment I have uploaded two sets of pictures, but I will upload a lot more.

If you have tips, I can always use them ;-).

BTW : I'm planning to buy me at the end of the year a Nikon D80 camera :-).

Since June 13, the Microsoft Office Outlook team has started a blog. You can find it here. Although there are not that many posts yet, it seems that they have released an Outlook add-in that allows you to access your Windows Live Hotmail account from within Outlook 2003 or 2007.

Wednesday, Ordina did a seminar about Sharepoint 2007.  Around 15 people attended the seminar and they have learned a lot about brewing a sharepoint 2007.  At the end a bonus was given about Silverlight.  Here are a few pictures (again with my cellphone).

Yesterday Ordina organized a SharePoint session (“Portals voor fijnproevers”) about Portals using SharePoint and DotNetNuke.  Around 20 people have attended this session. Afterwards we had a tour in the brewery of around one hour and which ended with a tasting of the Famous Geuze and Rasberry beer.  I have taken a few pictures with my cell phone so sorry for the poor quality, but it gives you a good idea of the famous Ordina sphere @ their events ;-).

I was a little worried looking @ my clustermap.  The small picture on the main page shows a lot of dots.  When clicking on it, your got the full view (Click here).  Most of the Dots are disappeared.  But after looking around, it seems that they have archived the Stats.  So on your main picture you still see the total amount of Dots.  On the Detail you see the dots from 19 June 2007.  And when clicking the archive, you see the dots till 19 June 2007 hehe.

What is iLike?
It is a service that lets you discover music based on what you and your friends like. You can share your music tastes, see what your friends are listening to, and get tons of free MP3s from emerging artists that match your tastes.

It's still in beta, but if you want an account, just leave me a comment with your e-mail address and I send you an invitation.
